When I was a film student I would have killed to get hired for such a shoot. Really, if you can find some who are passionate about the art and can prove they aren’t flakes, it’s a good way to get fresh talent at a bargain.

Hi, I am working on a bit more complicated project than u-tube, but the idea of hiring a student has crossed my mind. I am applying for grants that are in review. The schedule is a bit flexible, but it will take up most of June and July. This is a Documentary of Mental Illness, and our countries perception of it, I know it’s pushing it a bit, but it takes time to get the funds, sometimes, but it we can get it together the Change Minds Campaign, I am hoping we will have put together something they will be proud to show to benefit a worthy cause.

Thanks for the comment Marc! I’m curious – what kind of video production work were you looking to do? If you’re looking for actual commercial production, that’s going to run up a significant tab. But most of the video work for the web can be done very inexpensively, and there are a lot of tools at your disposal.
